Post subject: creating subquery in XI R2 Webi

need to create a report for this SQL query; the subquery part of this, how to code (drag/drop) in Webi?
I tried to add subquery (clicked icon), all that I can do here is add filter ? I can't seem to add mini subquery as shown here
select cust_name, revenue from A
where revenue > (select avg(revenue) from A)

Moved from "About BOB" forum (which is a forum for information about this forum, not for product questions) to "Building Reports" -> WebI v. 6 subforum (just as a guess).

Since you didn't say which version of WebIntelligence you are using, if I guessed wrongly -- please note the version, and a moderator will move it to the correct Web reporting subforum.

Oops, I belatedly saw that the topic name actually says XI R2, so I moved it to the WebI XI subforum.

Subquery indeed work with filter object ... and Filter by object.
say you want All employees detail from emplyee table and condition from bonus table where Bonus is not null for year 2006.

just select all information needed in the report then add employee no in filter object then add sub query select employee no from bonus table and add "where" by dragging and dropping the Bonus object.
add condition and and value ( is not null). Drag and drop "year".
add condition equal to 2006..(you can use predefine filter too)

Hope this help
