Post subject: [DI] Field Mappings and Functions

Is it possible to apply a function to many fields within a query transform or do I have to go through each one adding the function to the mapping?

The answer is probably no, have to be done manually. But two thoughts:

Search tab in the query: To change a couple of mappings at once you can use the search tab of the query, next to order by,group by. I use that often to change or remove the qualifications like "Query_1.colx" to "colx" only.

If you have the same mapping formula for different fields it might be a good idea to encapsule this in a custom script function (see last tab of the object library).

thankyou, i'll have a look at alternate solutions, seems a shame that you can drag and drop all the columns into the target and not apply a transformation across the board.....oh well.
