Post subject: Encrypted Data at Rest in FRS

I've been doing a little research, and I've discovered that encrypting the data at rest in the FRS is entirely possible, but also entirely unsupported by SAP. According to note 2771909 they officially wash their hands of any issues arising from doing so.

Has anyone here done this? Any issues that cropped up? Any benchmarks for how it impacted performance?

I have at least one client who is doing this, and has been for several years. I don't have any details, but they haven't contacted me about any issues, either.
