Post subject: Group memberships are lost using UMT...

Hi all,

I'm working on the upgrade of our BI system from XI3.1 to BI4.2SP07.

My testing environment is set up and I'm trying to upgrade my XI3.1 resources using Upgrade Management Tool (UMT). I use the inremental approcach.

Unfortunately, I have discovered that some group memberships (group to sub group relations) are lost somewhere during the upgrade.

Example :
* in XI3.1, RG-INF-ACT is a member of 21 groups.
* in BI4.2, after upgrading using UMT, RG-INF-ACT is a member of only 15 groups...

I used to the querybuilder app to be sure with this simple query :
Code:
select SI_CUID, SI_NAME, SI_USERGROUPS from ci_systemobjects
where si_cuid = 'AfrWcMQsYRNMuEp3bl90nMc'.

You'll fin dattached snapshots of the 2 result sets.

No error appeared during the upgrade in UMT.

Did you experience such problems during your upgrades ? Is there a maximum number of memberships limit for a group in the upgrade process ?

Thanks in advance for lighting my way with your precious shiny feedbacks ! icon_smile.gif

Regards.
