First time I've felt confident for a few years. That said, we're ahead of where I thought we'd be after the world cup.

Mark

One year later....

Are you still feeling confident after that iffy display last week despite an unbeaten record since?

And do you have tickets?

I think that we( England) will win if we don't make too many silly mistakes

David

I'm a little less confident than last year, if for no other reason than we're away. Plus the injuries to our pack are concerning... and mounting.

I think that is exactly how I am feeling.

Beer, peace, and sofa sorted already for me icon_lol.gif

...and that was a really satisfying afternoon's viewing. With 12mins to go I said that I was still feeling good about England's chances and my optimism was justified within seconds.

What made it more satisfying was the series of Facebook posts from my Welsh cousin charting her trip from North Wales to Cardiff to watch the boyos, then distinct radio silence barring a few expletives around 9pm when I wished her a safe journey back. icon_biggrin.gif

Remember to give her a big sympathy hug next time you see her. Also remember to wear a box when you do icon_twisted.gif

20 months later and it's World Cup Final time! So near yet so far for the boyos.

Blimey, I started this topic pre-Brexit vote!

No England vs Wales, which is a shame. My wife has been trying to convince me to go to Japan since the moment we beat the ABs.

I am feeling very confident about this coming weekend although not expecting it to be as good a match.

I expect Wales will limp out in the end against NZ - too many injuries.
