Post subject: BI4.0 - SP5 - BI Services with SSL is not working.

Dear Friends,

Till BI 4.0 SP4 Patch 6 we are able to work with out any issue with BI Services, Qaaws and Live office connections using SSL(https) for testing when we try https://webserver/dswsbobje/services/listServices it will show all available services names and status. and we build the dashboards using BI services using https URL and it's working perfectly with out any issue.

After we applied SP5 patch update then the issue came - when we try https://webserver/dswsbobje/services/listServices
Quote:
500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

http://webserver/dswsbobje/services/listServices All service will show.

Now we are struck with this issue to install SP5 on PROD systems.
Please help me if some one has any idea

My Environment is:
Windows 2008 SP1, Sql Server 2008, IIS7, Tomcat 6

Thanks,
Srinivas

Hi Srinivas, Our environment is similar. We're front ending ours with Apache 2.0.64 and we are suffering the same problems. We have applied Service Pack 5 & Patch 3.

We're experiencing the same problem. Have you discovered a solution or has support been any help? Do you know if they are working to resolve this issue? If you have a case number we can reference, I will be happy to open a case as well and see if we can add our voice to the problem.

I've gone through the notes of Patch 5 and I don't see any resolution or mention of this as a known issue. Hopefully you have some good news or at least somewhere to look.

My Environment is:
Windows 2008 R2 SP1, Sql Server 2008, Apache 2.0, Tomcat 6 (on Win 2k8 R2 SP1 boxes)
4 processing boxes & 2 web server boxes load balanced with an F5

Thanks ahead of time for any insight you might have,
James L
