How to import only universes into BIAR File using command line tool and properties file?
here is my properties file:
action = exportXML
exportBiarLocation = complete_universe_only.biar
userName = Administrator
password = *******
authentication = secEnterprise
CMS = CMS:6400
exportDependencies = true
includeSecurity = true
exportQuery=Select * From CI_APPOBJECTS where SI_KIND = 'Universe'
exportQueriesTotal = 1

But still i am retrieving all data into my BIAR File......?

Thanks & Regards,

Jaykumar, Welcome to Bicon_mrgreen.gifB!

I'm splitting your post to a separate topic, as it is unrelated to the topic in which you posted.

Hi, I am receiving error when I try to create a BIAR file using Import Wizard.

BOXI R2
Source : BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2
Destination: BIAR

I am using Administrator user for both OS and Application.

Error: Error Logging on to server. Check logon information and try again. (IWZ 00001)
Class not registered

I am sure this is not username/password issue. I have double checked them. Please help me to resolve this issue. Thank you.

is the cms server running on crystal. I think you need at least Central Management Server and the File Repository Servers running to do this.

Hi,

This could be java issue as the error message indicates class not registered. You can perform the following:

- Open up the Java Panel.
- Go to 'Settings' under the Temporary Internet Files. Then Delete all the Temp Files.

It might resolve your issue.

Boy; did not think anyone was still running R2. There is a fix for this particular issue on SCN. Check if this applies to you: http://scn.sap.com/thread/1400215

1. Open regedit (all the normal warnings about modifiy registry and backups)

2. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 12.0\Enterprise\Import Wizard\objectManagerIWJni

3. The strings should read:

"MinMemMB"="64"

"MaxMemMB"="512"

4. Modify the MaxMemMB to a value less than 512. I have had success with 256.
