Post subject: Scheduling java Scripts by using unix or batch file

Hi Friends,
I am new to BO, currently we are scheduling the reports in infoview, say for example reports will run on daliy 10:30 PM IST, but the source data should be transfer before 10:30 PM, in case of delay to complete the data trasfer we have rerun the reports, is there any option to schedule the reeeports by using scripts:

we have crystal reports and webi reports also.

please help me out to resolve this issue...

Thanks Friends,
Anbu P

Welcome to Bicon_mrgreen.gifB!

What could help you is to use event based scheduling. Check the BOE Admin guide:
http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir2/en/xir2_bip_Admin_en.pdf
page 230 - "File-based events"

You can use file events for this. Check out my blog posting on scheduling and events at http://howtobi.wordpress.com
