Post subject: jdbc.sbo not parsed - creation jdbc connection impossible

After the installation of Crystal reports 2008 on my machine I no longer see the possibility to create jdbc connections in Designer. I have the impression the jdbc.sbo file is no longer parsed.

Does anyone had this problem before and/or can anyone help me solve this problem?

Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't think the Crystal Reports 2008 install would have any affect on the jdbc.sbo file since it is installed in a different directory.

We have Designer and Crystal Reports 2008 both installed on our servers and we have no problem setting up a JDBC connection.

You don't say if it worked before you installed Crystal Reports 2008 or not so are you sure the JDBC drivers have been setup correctly?

We just recently upgraded and I haven't upgraded my client PC yet so I may have more information later.
