So no support for XP or Win2k3-32bit? Wow.

I would be quite sure that they're talking about server architecture. I think 32 bit clients are still available.

I really cannot see the need to continue this thread and this conversation when the product is still in beta. First of all, all these could be just hearsay. Secondly, even if it is true, the final product can totally be different. Last but not least, if it is true and someone is leaking the information, that person will likely be facing some legal ramification as people who have contact of the beta product are all under NDA.

That's the mystery question of the day. At the conference, they announced Q4 2010, but apparently that was for ramp up. Then, I was told by a contact at SAP to expect GA mid to late January. However, one of my co-corkers noticed yesterday that they had posted a June, 2011 release date for GA. So, there seems to be internal confusion at SAP. icon_eek.gif

Clearly, they are hard at work eliminating bugs and needed some more time as was the case with XI, XIR2, XI3.0 and XI3.1. Here's to wishful thinking...

Jill, that's just what I was thinking. Then it occurred to me. If the release has been delayed from January to June, they must have found some major problems with it. In that case, I'm glad they delayed it.

I'm all for a stable release, regardless of when it's delivered. My fear is it will be delayed 6 months, then still be unstable and buggy like 3.0/3.1.

Agreed Michael and Skeygo. I place a much higher premium on stability than timelines. I'd rather not spend my time opening tickets to prove that the product doesn't work as described.

As for the WAR file question, it sounds like InfoView and CMC are now combined into one web application. So instead of going to http://server/InfoViewApp/logon.jsp and http://server/CmcApp/logon.faces, you now access both using http://server/NewWebApp/infoviewlogon.jsp and http://server/NewWebApp/cmclogon.jsp. I don't see any immediate rewards for either method. Maybe one web app is easier to maintain than two?
