Hiding your Email address

I don't want to get unsolicited email from the board or How can I keep my email address private?

If you do not want your email address to be publicly available, you can adjust your profile settings. Once you log in, you should click the Profile link at the top of the screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and find:

Always show my Email Address: Yes No
Hide your online status: Yes No

If you select "Yes" to the first option, then every post you make will have an email link that will allow people to contact you directly. It also exposes your email address to anyone that browses the forum. If you select "No", then your email address is only available to forum Moderators and Adminstrators.

If you don't mind having your name show up on the bottom of the main page when you are logged in, select "No" to the second option. If you want to be able to log in but not show up as an "online user", select "Yes" to hide your online status.
