Unable to open Excel file in windows explorer

Hello all,

After I installed Xcelsius 2008 and launched for the first time, I now find that I am unable to open an Excel spreadsheet from Windows Explorer by either double clicking the file or right clicking and selecting "Open With" . When I do this, Excel comes up and is blank. If I then select File/Open I am able to open the file with no problem.

Any ideas?

open new Excel spreadsheet from Program Files then
Go to TOOLS->options->Click General Tab
then unchecked the Ignore Other Applications..

This behaviour is subject of a SAP Note :

1382291 - Ignore other Applications Flag under Excel is effected as soon as Xcelsius is started

In this note, an ADAPT is identified :

The issue has been identified and logged under Problem Report ID ADAPT01301321

Has anyone an idea in which SP or FP this will be solved ?
