Not sure ithis will help, but some facilities, such as a libarary, offer free meeting rooms to non-profit organizations. GBN's non-profit status extends to all of the local groups. Just let me know...
Also, we could reach out to the DFW ASUG chapter to see if they might know of anything. |

Thank you Melissa for the suggestion.
Our next meeting is going to be held at Texas Instruments South Campus, on Wednesday July 15th.
We still have some minor detail on the agenda to iron out. I will publish it as soon as it is ready. But I can tell you it will cover some hot topics that our members have been asking for. So please mark your calendar. More information will come. _________________ If you are using BusinessObjects, you should join ASUG.

The July 28th meeting at TI looks like it should draw a good crowd. Brian Durning will be great; I worked with him when he moved up here from Houston. He has had some innovative ideas with the Crystal SIG. I met with a few users that I have known a long time that haven't been attending. Any suggestions on what I might say to them to get them to come out?
I went to the Dallas ASUG meeting in October 2007 (at UTD), and October 2008 (right after our joint national meeting). The chairperson that I met is here in Rockwall. And I met the chairperson for the Central Texas ASUG who is in Austin. They had a huge event in Oct 07, with about 500 attending (including Central Texas and Houston ASUGs), and about 30 vendors and about 20 break-outs. National ASUG and SAP put a lot of effort into an impressive meeting at UTD. It was a day and-a-half affair. |
