Hello,
We are on BOXI 3.1.
Does anyone know the difference between the two menu options in Infoview, named "Save to my computer as" and "Save report to my computer as" under "Document"? In my case, I want to save the data in a Webi report I am working on to Excel on my computer.
Both options create the file locally on my computer. They result seems to be the same to me, so why the two menu options?

Save to my computer saves the entire document (report).
Save report to my computer saves the current report (report tab).
Quite handy new feature in my opinion

Hello,
Do anyone know if we have an option to disable one of them ? Our users wants to see only one option not both so wondering if anyone has an ever done this?

The moment you disable the option to save an individual tab within a report, you will have another user ring you and ask "how can I save just one tab - not the whole document?"
Tell them it can't be done. Save yourself the stress. |
