Post subject: Hiding the rows---

Hi All,

I have a report that contains the following fields.

Name ID1 ID2 ID3 ID4 ID5
----------------------------------
BBB 0 0 0 1 0

YYY 0 0 0 0 0

ZZZ 0 1 1 0 0

AAA 1 0 0 0 0

Based on name column, i have applied break. Now the thing is, i want to hide the rows which contains all the values as zero's.(Example)In the above table, i need to hide the second row which
contains all values as zero. Here, Name is a dimension and ID's are measure.

Any suugestions please.

Cheers,
Muthu.

Create a variable
Code:
n=If<Id1>=0Then If <Id2>=0 Then If <Id3>=0 Then 1

And then apply a filter to this column n so that it displays only the empty values. Finally hide this column.

Hello

when I try this approach I do not see the variable I have created in the list of objects I can filter the block by. In fact I don't see any variables I have craeted in the list.

is that normal - using BO full client 6.5

thanks

Just a double check, are you sure that you are creating them as variables and not simply as formulae?
