What database do you have OLTP or OLAP ?

It depends whether to go for one or multiple reports ? You need to involve your DBA to look into this HUGE report query.. and s/he is the best to decide how s/he wants this SQL to run either to get the complete result set at once or in segments. !

And I am answering this issue without knowing what is the result set size ?

DBA is the best to help.... if users can compromise with multiple reports icon_cool.gif

Hi abc,
Your requirements are pretty vague.
You said you have a huge report and then you are asking whether it is possible to build it in the BO or not? so do you have it in the otehr rporting tool?

As asked by BO_Chief, how much volume of data the report brings in?

So get hte SQL used / generated for the query and then approach the DBA to see how s/he can help you.

To add another question, what is the purpose of a report with such a huge number of rows icon_question.gif
Who is going to read it icon_rolleyes.gif , or even worse print it eek.gif ?
