I'm now using BOXI R2 which has the WEBI limitation in exporting data to Excel (2003). It can export only 65535 rows.
For BOXI 3.x, per KB 1282984, it can overcome the 65,000 row limitation by exporting the document to multiple worksheets within the Excel Workbook. Each worksheet will be 65,535 rows long. For example, if a query returns 150,000 rows of data the resultant export to Microsoft Excel would produce a single workbook with 3 worksheets. 2 worksheets of 65,535 rows and 1 worksheet of 18,930 rows.
My question is how about BOXI 4.x? How does it do with Excel 2007?

Here is what SAP Tech Support told me:
1.Is there any improvement on exporting from WEBI /Crystal Reports to
-In BI 4.0 we can directly save reports to Excel 2007 format.
2.Can we export data more than 65,535 rows but less than 1 million rows
(per the Excel 2007 limitation) from WEBI /Crystal Reports to Excel
2007 in one Excel worksheet?
-Excel 2007 format has a limit of 16384 columns and 1048576 rows, so you can export a report having more than 65535 rows to excel.
3.If we need to export more than 1 million rows from WEBI/ Crystal
Reports to Excel 2007, how will it treat the data (e.g. 1 million rows
in each worksheet OR display only 1 million row and remove the rest?
-As mentioned in the above point, it has a limit of 1048576 rows so it will not take or display records more than that.
