Hi,

Will this formula work?
Code:
RIGHT(table.SSN_column,4)
If not then try SUBSTR() function to extract only the last 4 characters from the string.

Thanks,

RIGHT(table.SSN_column,4) works.

How to format SSN to display in this format in the report instead of last 4 digits only.

XXX-XX-1234

Use the current right function right(ssn #,4) create another object with XXX-XX and cancatenate it with your current object. Your output should like XXX-XX-3456

Great suggestion, but this can also be accomplished in a single object.

For example, in Oracle:

Code:
'XXX-XX-'||RIGHT(table.SSN_column,4)

V
