I am getting worried about the whole SAP takeover. They kept saying it will remain a separate company and nothing will change. Now with this support issue, no conference this year, and our reps have been really bad to responding to us! I think BO will never be the same now that its under SAP! |

I got my letter last week, and that's where I got the information about the superadministrator as I have stated in my previous post.
The new support site is good. But it is not as easy as used to be to open a new case. Another thing I noticed is that all my previous cases with OCS are now gone. Good thing I have archived all the case information myself. _________________ If you are using BusinessObjects, you should join ASUG.

The new site might be better (they couldnt really make it worse, now could they), but having your knowledgebase locked behind a password is very strange or better: awkward. For instance it will make responding to posts here a lot more difficult. _________________ Berend -

That SAP locked away some stuff, that used to be publicly accessible is just aggrevating...
If indeed old OCS entries are gone, that would be a less than perfect migration _________________ Follow me on Twitter

Halleluja...
finally we found the letter... using the snailmail is a bit unexpected in a business where consultants are spread all over the world and a letter can only be at one place at a time ^^ - but now I am "in" but the userid is really a bit a problem.. a postit on the monitor helps me! - big brother forgive me!

I just tried to find simple error code like WIS 00013 on SAP Notes portal but it shows 0 result found. I tried below link:
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/businessobjects-notes
Any idea about it? Do I need to log in to see search result? Is it free registration? Before I used to read free K-base article on Business Objects portal.
THanks for your time. _________________ Trans business objects |

From other emails in this thread I think it is not a free access anymore
I go to service.sap.com/support and about after four logins I can get to the link for sap notes. _________________ Shoaib |

You need to buy the maintenance and support in order to access.
Well, the consolation of this web site change is that I can now delete more than half a dozen links from my Favorites and replace with just one. _________________ If you are using BusinessObjects, you should join ASUG.

Has anyone tried using it yet? It's absurdly difficult to use and completely unintuitive. I had though when BO transitioned their support over to their Peoplesoft site after the Crystal merger, that it went from so-so to bad. But this SAP support site sinks to a new low.

I finally got into the site, and went to "Report a Product Error". I get an authorization error:
"Currently you do not have authorization to use this function. To request the authorization, please contact one of the administrators at your company: "
The only person listed as an administrator is myself!!! |
