SAP Sales Rapid Mart, the initial load is pretty straight forward. It joins two tables, e.g. VBAK + VBAP for the orders, does a couple of lookups and that's it.

Delta load is a different story.

How long does the DF take as a whole and how long the ABAP?

Some points of order, please:

- Please be as descriptive as possible with your problem so that people can help you. Using general terms is not enough.

- Please don't ask for "offline" help through email. Because then other people do not get the benefit of your conversation and (hopefully) ultimately the solution to the problem.

Thank you.

Focus on one flow at a time, so write down the execution numbers for each DF. It does not help much to optimize a DF that executes in 5 seconds, let's focus on the one that runs for an hour.
Look at the candiates and guess what effort it could be for tuning it. Is it processing 100mio rows in one hour or just 100'000?

As a result of the analysis we can take the one DF that is both, worth tuning and has potential to be optimized.

Then we can take the flow apart together and decide what can be done...

btw, what do you mean with " SAPFM and SAPFDC rapid marts"? There are no Rapid Marts of that name.

You need to give more info, Sam. The easy answer to your question is just change the source system to store timestamps and modify your jobs to work with them, but I don't know how much performance improvement you are going to see from that. You might even lose performance.
