Can i use a view with a sort by clause to avoid explicitly sorting my comparison table? Sorting the input table is no problem, because i can use a query transform before connecting it to tc transform, but i can not "influence" the sql for the comparison table and i wouldn't like to copy it to a temporary table just for that sorting purpose.

TC itself generates the "select from compare table order by xxxxx" in case the transform operates in sorted mode.

Ooops. We got a new topic?!
ok. That leads me to the conclusion that the comparison table doesn't have to be sorted at all (but an appropriate index would accelerate the process), but for the input table sorting is mandatory and can't be substituted by an index. icon_idea.gif Would you agree?
... and the primary key definitions in DI for the tables mean nothing for tc icon_exclaim.gif , correct?
