I ran across a WebI 6.1.3 error message…Here's a little background:
- In Designer, I disabled the LOV on date-based dimension objects.
- Created pre-defined prompted conditions using these same date-based dimension objects.
- In full-client, the "Value" button is grayed-out as expected, thus the user types in the desired date in the prompted field.
- In WebI, the following error message appears as many times as there are date-based prompts…However, by clicking Close for each one, the user eventually gets to enter the desired date(s), hence WebI returns the results. Either way, this error message is an annoyance.
An internal error occured while calling the
'retrieveListOfValues' API. (Error: WIS 30270)

Sounds like the Repository is confused and still has some outdated references.
How have you handled the new version on the server?
I'd suggest deleting any previous copies of the unv and related lov files on the server Universe directory - also run a scan/repair/compress enabling the auth/remove option whilst doing so.
I typically do this as a rule when removing LOV's - when changing them, I change the LOV default name so as to avoid any confusion. _________________ Image linkImage linkImage linkImage link

we also got the same error, but in our case we had two data sources; oracle and teradata, while running a webi report connecting to the teradata data source we got this error because we never installed teradata client on the server, once installed and made a connection string, we are fine with no error showing up now,
