A canned report is simply one that has been pre-built for you. Typically the report will have been built by IT, but is then refreshed by business users. Maybe it will have a number of prompts so each user can refresh the same report, but specify different items of information they are interested in. How do you do it? Simply build a report to meet someone's requirements and give them access to the report. Easy!

Usually Corporate Documents are also known as "Canned" reports.
Corporate Documents is a central repository for documents to which a wide audience should have access.

In Supervisor a user needs to be granted special rights to be able to publish/remove/overwrite Corporate Documents.

I got the idea of Canned Report. Thanks. The problem is that I have to create 3 reports , in first report , I am showing 3 objects
and when I click or drill down one object , it should take to the next report or next documents which contains different
objects as well as existing object from the first report. Can anyone explain how to do drill down from report to report in Canned Report

Thanks in Advance

Hmmm, well something like that is doable. But if you are drilling then your are using in-built functionality, which isn't really designed to go to another document. At this point you could start with VBA or SDK....but I'm tempted to say that if you just concentrate on just clicking on a link on report 1 which takes you to report 2 etc it may be easier for you. I'd suggest searching on linking - as this comes up quite a lot (I'll go off and see if I can find you a nice thread and post if back here in a minute if I find one). In the meantime there is nothing to stop you creating 3 canned reports...the linking stuff can be added later.

I hope this link will give you some ideas...
