Post subject: Storing value under @Variable

In IDT, can we use the @Variable to store values besides what is listed under the BO default variables.

If yes what will be the format and is it recommended?

If you're looking to re-use a value, you can instead create a new object with the desired text in the object's SELECT field, and then reference that value with @Select().

Thank you. It helps. I also do a lot of SQL programming and use variables there so I was just curious if I could the @variable similar way but after reading the IDT documents, I found that it was designed to use with internal BO values like BOUSER etc.

Thanks again.
