Post subject: Connection to Oracle 10g OLAP

Hi,

we are trying to connect to a number of huge Oracle 10g OLAP cubes so to develop our reports through Crystal Reports 10 (our environment in entirely Windows-based).

Unfortunately we have not been able to find out how to connect to such cubes.

Please note that we also did succeed to connect to some other MS OLAP cubes, as a test (our production environment is Oracle based).

By selecting the 'Direct to OLAP server' option from the Crystal OLAP Connection Browser', in fact, we have only the following server types listed:

- IBM DB2 OLAP Server (Local client)
- Hyperion Essbase (Local client)
- Holos HDC Cube (Local client)
- Microsoft OLE DB Provider for OLAP Services
- Microsoft OLE DB Provider for OLAP Services 8.0

Hi,

You need to check the PAR document (the list of supported platforms) whether Oracle 10g OLAP cubes are supported by your version of Crystal Reports.
