Post subject: Filter unique (ID) instances

Hi,

For a report i want 1 instance for Unique ID's.
It is less important what is on the rest of the row as long as every ID
in the endresult is unique.

So, when i have this;

ID Date Action
123 01-02-2019 Call
123 02-03-2018 Call
234 02-03-2018 write
345 02-03-2018 Call
345 02-03-2018 Call

I want this as a result;

ID Date Action
123 01-02-2019 Call
234 02-03-2018 write
345 02-03-2018 Call

thx in advance icon_smile.gif

Instead of =[Date] use =Max([Date])
Same for Action.

Could you explain that?

What i need is a formula that says something like;

If ([ID]>2) Then Max([date]) And If [Date]>2 Then Max([Action])

Does this formula i just wrote make any sense? (not very good at this)

I was fulfilling your requirement.

Max([Date]) and Max([Action]) will give you the Max date and Max action for each ID.

If you do actually care what's there (and based on your reply you do), then please provide some business rules for us to build. icon_smile.gif

The missing part is how to identify unique ID's.

Quite easy in SPSS, but less Obvious in Webi.. banghead.gif
