Post subject: Data to display based on the Max date

Hello All,

I am working on the report that needs to display the data based on the max date,

Please find the example data,

Date Number Code Description Status
2/1/2005 12456 CGD Rag H
3/5/2015 12456 5145 Web H
14/12/2015 12456 5145 Web R

I need to display only one record that should be as shown below based on the max date.
Date Number Code Description Status
14/12/2015 12456 5145 WebI R

I tried different ways using Max(date) variable but it didn't work.

Please provide your suggestions on this.

Thanks

You could use the rank function.

Create a variable called Max Date in Number
like

=max([Date]) in ([Number])

(the bracket around the max might have to be at the end..)

Then create a variable called Max Date Flag
like

Code:
=if([Max Date in Number] = [Date];1;0)

Then apply a table filter for Max Date Flag = 1
