Post subject: I'm back!

Hello all! I'm back on the board and looking for a position in the BI space. I thought what better way to get my feet wet and let my friends and contacts help by dusting off my BoB Login and Password and tell folks what's up with me. I wonder how long it has been since I last logged in.

Let me catch you up on me...

I was employed at Lincoln Financial Group till the end of June, when I decided to hop into the job pool because I'd had cancer...of the breast...all healthy now, BTW, and working with the Claims team on Death and Dying was becoming too morbid to bear. I didn't expect to be out this long but according to NPR, the job market is HOT and loads of folks are doing what I did these days, taking a leap of faith and transitioning.

I'd love to hear what's up with you!

Does anyone still use any of my old posts and find them helpful? I certainly hope so. Being helpful is why we're all here, isn't it?

Hope to hear from you all soon!

Hi, Cindy. Welcome back.

I was laid off back in March, and have been looking for a full time position since then, as well as doing a little side consulting on my own. I finally landed a position with Tableau Software as a Solution Architect. I start the new job this coming Monday. If I see anything open on the east coast, I'll be in touch.

BO market seems dead in London tbh and rates poor, pretty much like the the BOB forum these days.

I picked up Tableau in the end and mainly do that now but also maintain legacy BO deployments.
