Post subject: sales report

I am trying to create a sales report that shows monthly and weekly sales figures in the same line. I currently have a column for the product, the product cost, the calendar year, month and net sales, which gives me the monthly sales. I want to add weekly sales and I have a 'week number' column but of course when dropping that in it changes my net sales. Any suggestions?

Say you've got four weeks in a month.

Are you saying that you want to see the monthly sales figure against each row? If so, add ForAll([week]) to your monthly sales figure, where [week] is the week object that you've added to the table.
Another formatting option would be to insert a break on month, so that you get a month total row below each group of weeks that makes up that month; this will generally look far better and be easier to read.

Thanks for the responses. I essentially want to display the following:

Product name, cost, monthly net sales, weekly net sales

Widget1 100.00 January 1000.00 week1 250.00
Widget1 100.00 January 1000.00 week2 500.00
Widget1 100.00 January 1000.00 week3 125.00
Widget1 100.00 January 1000.00 week4 125.00

I will try the ForAll([week]) option. I am not sure if that is what I am looking for. While I agree to break on month and sum the weekly sales is the best option it is not what is being requested. If it is the only option though I will have to go that route.

Thanks.

ForAll will work for what you want, as would
=Sum([Net Sales]) In ([Year Month])
