Post subject: Does Desktop Intelligence work with Windows 10?

We are using Desktop Intelligence on BOXI3.1 SP7, currently on Windows 7. If our operating system is upgraded to Windows 10, will this version of Desktop Intelligence still work?

I haven't tried it, but I would be surprised if it works. It certainly wouldn't be supported. You might want to try it on a test PC.

...and it would also be a good idea to at least think about upgrading to a supported version. Even 4.1 is out of standard support at the end of this year, I think.

We currently are running BusObjs XI 3.1 (12.1.0.882) Desktop Intelligence on both Windows 7 and Windows 10.

However, to get it to work on Windows 10, we had to make sure when launching the .exe to install, that we "Run as administrator".

If we just did a straight double-click to launch the .exe, on Windows 10, the install would act like it processed correctly - but when trying to actually launch Deski, we would get errors.

Yes, I know that XI 3.1 is no longer supported - but it's the system we have and we're making it work.

It is really a good news from you that DeskI can still work on Windows 10.

Can we have a conference call with you sometime in the next 2 weeks to understand if you have had any challenges at all with Desktop Intelligence running Windows 10?
