Me, too. So far, the prospects look good.

@Michael, so good to hear from you. Will you be fine in any new adventure? (that's a rhetorical question) Yes. yesnod.gif

When you're unemployed, anything that involves putting on clothes over your underwear and brushing the cookie crumbs out of your beard is classified as an adventure in my book. icon_smile.gif

I love new adventures. So whatever it is, yes, I'll be fine. I hope that it involves BusinessObjects, but I'm open to anything.

I'll be in that position soon. Started a new job, no BO in sight, wall-to-wall SQL Server including RS and Power BI as the reporting tools. Looks like things are done very well, though.

I guess this is as much a warning to the forum that I won't be on much any more given the job change. SAP only have themselves to blame for killing their SME market share.

Some of the new PBI features over the last couple of months are making it more and more flexible. Now we have buttons and dynamic visibility - and it's becoming a serious contender for Xcelsius.

Hi Debbie.

It's looking very good. Currently I'm working far more on pure ETL/DW items but once those are in place we can build a whole raft/dashboard of juicy metrics and interactions. Look forward to sharing ideas with you. thumbsup.gif

I've been impressed with the development cycle on Power BI. 3 months ago it was missing a lot of required features that are now available. Microsoft is adding features rapidly. It's certainly becoming a contender.
