Post subject: Re: datastore is coming in trace log while it is not used in

Werner,
I tried to build a simple example:
A dataflow using 3 different datastore, 2 for source tables and 1 for a destination table and a query used to map two fields from each source table with drag and drop.No join and no where clause.

The log was fine and the transcoder was initialized only for the used datastore.

To reproduce the problem I added a new column mapped with a function and 3 more datastore appeared.
So it seems it has something to do with functions, even simple functions as sysdate()

this looks like a bug, not sure why its try to load not used datastore that are not used in Df if there is function call

have created a bug for this for current dev version (XI 4.0)

Post subject: Re: datastore is coming in trace log while it is not used in

I know that this is a very old topic and i had already reported it in DS 4.1 version.
There SAP fixed it for us!

Now on DS 4.2 Version SP7 (DEV, QA and PROD) and SP9 P2 (Sandbox) this issue occours again!

You can simply reproduce it e.g. buidling one dataflow reading from an oracle table and use a lookup_ext-function with caching option (can be the same oracle table or database).
Then it's not only initializing the oracle datastore!
It also initializes e.g WebService Datastores which are not used in this context.

So developers should check this (again)!
