Post subject: Using MEDIAN in IDT

Hey all,
First post, because I can't seem to find this information anywhere. I'm trying to run a MEDIAN function as an aggregate for a Universe that is being consumed by Design Studio (i.e. can't use the Webi Median function, need to do it in the universe).

Median is a valid function in my source database (Netezza), but whenever I use the object in a query, it adds the measure to the GROUP BY statement! While I want:
Code:
SELECT FIELD_A, MEDIAN(FIELD_B)
FROM TABLE
GROUP BY
FIELD_A

I end up with:
Code:
SELECT FIELD_A, MEDIAN(FIELD_B)
FROM TABLE
GROUP BY
FIELD_A, MEDIAN(FIELD_B)

I'm sure this has something to do with (something I've encountered many times before... I write weird SQL) IDT not recognizing MEDIAN as a valid aggregation function.

I guess long story short, is there any way to force IDT to treat an object as something to be GROUPED or NOT by Grouped.

Any help would be appreciated.
