Post subject: some objects are not available in the universe

Hi,

I have a huge report throwing below error , report is built on multiple universes, all universes are pointing to SAP BW

Error: - Some objects no longer available in the universe (WIS00001)

There are so many objects involved in each dataprovider along with lot of conditions

It is difficult to map each and every object used in report with universe

Is there a quick way to identify which objects definition has changed

If table columns has been changed or removed in SAP BW, the you will get this type of error. First check whether you have any backup of the universe which is correct and not throwing errors at report level. First refresh the universe structure and export it and run the reports again. I think there is no easy way to see which object definition has been changed. By doing the check integrity you can find which table/object is throwing definition error. Then you can check the definition once again

Hi Sudheer,

If any object is removed from universe , can I find that object in report query

The purpose here is to identify which object got deleted

Same goes for object for which definition has been updated or changed

If any object is deleted in universe, you can't find that object in report level

Thanks, I have one more question

There are two columns in another report -WOrder and Start Date, I filtered report for single WOrder and its showing date values since 2012 until August 2017 in BO but when I am pulling same columns in Bex Quey it has only 5-6 values for Start Date for same WOrder

I checked universe connection, refreshed structure (not exported ) but not sure why the difference is still coming between BO and SAP BW

Are those records in BO are distinct or duplicate. If they are duplicate try to put distinct in report properties and check
