BOB has retired moved! Our current platform (the one you are reading right now)
is over 18 years old. Rather than continue here, the community has moved to a new software platform!
We are excited about the move and hope that you'll come with us.
The new community URL is https://bobj-board.org/.
User accounts have not been converted. In order to participate on the new platform you will need
to create a new account. Existing posts have been retroactively assigned to your user name, but
are associated with an anonymous account. No personal information (email address and so on) has
been transferred to the new platform.
If you have any questions, the "About BOB" forum will remain open for the remainder of 2020, at
which point it will be replaced by a static page directing folks to the new community.
Thank you for your support and participation for the past 18 years.

Hello,
Would it be possible to create some sort of join & condition in the search to ignore unanswered posts for those forums that I have chosen to Hide in MyBob?
Thanks,

Hi Mark,
In the My BOB section, you can not only hide forums/subforums but also remove from search. There are basically 3 columns of checkboxes. The first one is for search, the 2nd one is for digest and the last one is for hiding.
So clear the 'search' checkboxes for those forums/subforums where the 'hide' checkboxes are already cleared.
I think that this will affect also results shown in the Unanswered Posts page. _________________ BO: BI 4.0, 4.1 | XI 3, 3.1 | XI r2 | 6.x | 5.x

Great stuff, thanks. I'd always left them all checked for when I needed to research something. At least I can toggle them back on when needed. _________________ Current version I'm using: 4.1 SP3 over Oracle. Well versed in SQL Server too, including SSIS
